I have just split up with my boyfriend of six months. Things had been a bit rough and he cheated on me so it's over. I still love him but cannot go back to him. Need some quick fixes to get over it!!

I have been where you are at right now and I can tell you that it is going to be hard. There is not a fast, quick fix to get over an ex, especially if you two just broke up. I just got over my ex when I saw him with another girl, who by the way, was a girl he dated before and who hurt him. I figured that was it. Let him feel the pain all over again with this girl; don't come crawling back to me. I laughed and found me another man who takes care of me and supports me in everything that I do.
Honey, it is going to take some time for you. You will find your own way to get over your ex. The fact that your ex cheated on you in more reason enough to get over him!!!!

Sorry to say, there are no quick fixes in life, especially when it comes to heartache.
The only consolation you can let comfort you is he's a liar and a cheater. You don't really love completely till death do you part with a guy who isn't a man yet. Men who cheat and lie will make lousy husbands and worse fathers. So, you had to break up because of the kind of guy he is. Try not to be sad but relieved you didn't saddled with him before you found out the kind of person he really is. God protected you from him. You get past it by being grateful for protection and God's love watching over you. Because trust me: if he was THE guy for you--he would be everything you hoped for--not a liar and a cheater.When I was a teenager, my dad would tell me:" If he (the boy I liked) calls you, thank God. If he doesn't, thank God!"
Hope you feel better soon. Just think: you missed a bullet!

sorry about your situation......the best advice I can give is time, time, time. thats usually what it takes to get over someone and for the pain to heal. Start trying to get out more, meet new people and eventually he will only be a bad memory. good luck

Get yourself a pint of ice cream and go online. Chat with guys. You don't have to date or go out with them. It's just a morale boost for your bruised ego. Good for you for hanging in there.

take one step at a time, the more you think of ways to get over him, the more you think of the person which is not healthy for healing. Give yourself a time to heal and soonbefore you realize it, youre totally over him

keep yourself busy and don't show how you're feeling... try not to think about him. and everytime you think of him remember its completely his fault and remember that he cheated on you... he's going to get tired of this new girl soon enough. chill out he'll be hurt just as badly soon.

cut off all contact with him, spend more time with your friends doing stuff that will take your mind off it. just bury the memory o him. if you keep talkin to him, you'll never get over him.

remember Ol da bad things he had done to you.
think of all his negative traits that turns you off. know that he is not the one for you because you deserve someone else who is willing to love you mor dan he loves himself and will not ever dare cheat you.
