iv got a lurcher ***** its 18mths old when its after its pray it goes out on the turn is there any thing i can do to help her stay with its pray on the turn

Ok Antony you need to get the hound closer to it's quarry maybe. Also you need to get some of it'squarry ie rabbit to train the hound with a dead one and let it have fun. then try to get hound closer to quarry. wow we shall see some thumbs down on here. and well done for working the dog.

She is young, give her time.

If she is larger, they just cannot turn like a smaller sighthound can. They also tend to be able to turn quicker if they toe out a bit.

She is only young yet...keep praticing her....but also if you can take her to the vet and have her checked out..as they have long legs she could have a weakness...ok :)

Nope,it's young & inexperienced & just needs PRACTICE!

Btw,it's PREY,but more "proffesional" to use QUARRY.
