As an international student studying in the United States, your loan options will be very limited unless you have a co-signer who is a US citizen or permanent resident.

International students with eligible cosigners can apply for the Sallie Mae Signature Loan (http://www.salliemae.com/get_student_loan/find_student_loan/undergrad_student_loan/private_student_loans/signature/ ), the Citibank Citiassist Loan (http://studentloan.citibank.com/slcsite/fr_ccund.asp ). There are plenty of others, but these two are quality loans that have become quite popular.

If you do not have a cosigner, you can try to apply for a loan through the International Student Loan Program (ISLP), which works with banks in your home country to help you obtain a loan through them. You can read about this unique loan here: http://www.internationalstudentloan.com/international_student/index.html . You might also consider the GATE student loan program: http://www.globalslc.com/
