What is a good food to eat around 7-8pm when I am trying to lose weight but also following the kind of diet where you eat something every few hours.

wrong source that where you had put your question in. yhis is for religion not food.
salad and fruite are good for evening meal. keep yourself healthy as well

UMmmmm - wrong section?

Try steamed or baked fish and brown rice (small portion)

hummus and veg sticks

baked apple stuffed with sultanas

quinoa (an American grain) broth (add tofu veg or chicken)

Homemade soup with rice cakes

smoothie - try banana berries live yogurt linseed's pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds all wizzed up in a blender.

Keep the portions fairly small and stick to wholemeal and 'brown' foods as they will keep you fuller for longer and balance your blood sugar nicely. Whatever you do avoid sugary snacks as they will make you feel hungry and tired. These include cereal bars and processed food like white bread.
