i recently broke up with my ex who was a power and control freak,and made me feel worthless..anyway i joined a couple of internet dating websites hoping to get to know some decent guys and within a day i had like 200 hits from guys who want to know me,im really flattered,some guys are really all about they're career but also seem ok and very attractive ive accepted a few but theres a few who id seen before but thought they wouldnt go for a girl like me as im really grounded and am all about living life and not materialistic about money,these guys have shown interest and i would like to get to know them but feel like they're way out of my league on everything,i am attractive but im a bit of a hippy chick,and i do work and have money but nothing spectacular just pays the bills..should i get to know them anyway..i have low confidence and part of me just did this to feel better but i think its gone way over my head with the amount of choices i have..

Good for you for breaking up with the control freak! You may think your confidence is low but you must have a certain amount of self esteem to have dumped your ex! If you are worried about not being good enough for these men then I think you should forget relationships for a while & work on exactly what you want from life first. When you feel great about yourself & know what you want the right man will come along, but until then you will only attract more losers. There is nothing to be admired about men who are materialistic & self obsessed, & what is so wrong with being a well grounded woman who makes enough money to pay her bills? You deserve to find the very best partner in life.

Just be confident and give these guys a try. Come on, a date wouldn't kill you. Just try and have fun and don't worry too much. Who knows, one of these guys might turn out to be great for you!

Just pick out the ones you feel you have a connection with, chat with them and see how it goes.
I did the same thing it does wonders for your confidence and have been dating a guy for 8 months who I thought would never look twice at someone like me.
There are some men out there who do seem to have it all, but they don't have the arrogance to go with it.

Nobodies out of your league. Just because they earn more money than you does not make them a better person than you. If you like them and they like you just see where it goes.
