I've an online friend whom I was chatting once. I said "I want to ask something if u dont mind, i m just asking out of curiosity.".
And even before I asked any question she said "I do not have any boyfriend".
I wanted to ask something totally different.
Why did she say like that? Does this mean she wants me to know that she is free & can be my gf?
We said "I miss u" quiet frequently to each other, chat daily & talk sometimes.
Does this means something or is trivial?

I'll tell you ablut it from my experience. Whenever i chat & someone wants to ask if I have a boyfriend or not, he always types, "May i ask you something?"
When i look at the sentence I already know that he is are going to ask if i'm single or not. This happens quite frequently, so she might have thought you are going to ask something like that. And you said that you always say "I miss you" to each other so this doesn't matter much. Once, even I made a really good friend online & I even used to say "Love ya", but he knew that i mean it as a friend.

Well she must have some interest, otherwise she wouldn't have bought it up. She could also just be lonely.
If she's far away or something like that, you might want to consider the conditions before thinking about a relationship or what she's thinking.
If you don't live close by or dont intend to meet in real life then don't waste your time.

the first few question ppl ask while chatting is age,location,sex, about bf/gf.So its normal if she did ask u.u said u chat with her regularly and miss her n she also miss u,that doesnt mean she dont have any other chat frienz.Give time to ur relationship if things r good then love will find her own way between u 2.just relax.

to stop your wondering whether or not its a good thing or bad thing she said this to you just ask her. That is the only way you will really know what she is thinking , i learned that is the best way to go about things. i wanted to know if a guy liked me and i am really shy to begin with so i asked him and he said no. i was upset but got over it. So i said go for it what have you got to lose!!
