I am looking for some more exercises to add to my existing routine.

I do weights 2-3 times a week, not to become huge and muscular but to burn fat and tone up a bit of definition.

I have a bench and normally start with 3 sets of 10 bench press followed by curls and whatever it is called when you lift the bar from waist up to nipple height bending at the elbow. I also do the one where you lift the bar above your head and down behind the neck. But this is my entire routine, I need some more exercises.

Over to you.

If you are trying to burn fat with it do a lot of reps like you are doing with 3 sets of 10. On one of your workout days put some light weight on and go to muscle failure. Also the squat may not be comfortable but it is one of the pillars of weightlifting.
Another thing to think about is that muscles burn calories themselves, and doing squats to work your thighs and glutes will be great. Caution: start with light weight and work up.

it extremely is a piece out plan that has labored for many persons, in spite of the undeniable fact that it extremely is extremely very no longer undemanding: a million) Squats 1x20 (you p.c.. the load) 2) Deadlift 5x5 3) Curl 5x3-5 try this for 3 or 4 days each and every week, do a mild heat-up, yet this is the kicker, each and every work out you upload 5 lbs to what you're lifting.

Go to the library and check out some magazines...muscle and fitness, oxygen, etc...These magazines have a wide variety of exercises for all muscle groups, along with pictures and detailed instructions for doing them correctly. Proper form is very important in weight training, for two reasons. You want RESULTS nad you do not want to injure yourself.

The other alternative is to pay for one or two sessions with a personal trainer who will teach you how to properly do several new exercises.

just hit your big compound lifts 3 times a week or so. learn how to do squats and deadlifts and do them regularly... pull-ups, rows, and shoulder presses are important too. If you are a beginner dont bother with curls or arm work, you will gain just fine from the compound exercises providing your diet is on track

if you go to the gym, there should be a gym attendent there who will be more than willing to help. another idea is to look at body building websites..not to bulk up but they show you exercises which you could incorporate into your workout.
