when the two of you planned it together i think the split but if the one ask for a date they're the one should pay.....but the other should offer also

That depends on the situation. If I'm hanging out with a guy friend and we're on a "date" then we can split no problem. If I'm on a real date then I expect him to pick up the bill. If we're dating seriously then we can take turns paying for the date.

If a guy asks me out to dinner, I expect him to pay, but I usually offer to split it. I have a better impression of him when he pays. At the same time, I have also asked a guy out and asked him if he minded if I paid. He was fine with it and I paid. Good impression intact.
I don't know, I just think a guy is kinda cheap if he doesn't pay the full bill on a date that he has asked me out on.
Maybe I'm old fashion.

I prefer a guy to pay the bills. He is a guy after all. Though I don't go for "a free ride" all the time. Once in a while. I will pay the bills or I will treat him for after-dinner drinks.

well it really depends on the culture and custom of the person. in our country, the men always pay for a date because they are the one who asks women for a date. if the man pays for the date, it greatly shows that he is a gentleman and he shows he can take care of his lady. its a major turn-off in our country if the man asks a lady to split the bill.

For a first date, I prefer that the man pays, I mean he did ask me out. But if all goes well, and we start going out regularly, then its okay to split the bill sometimes. And if I ask him to go someplace I want to go, I wouldn't mind paying for it completely.

i personally would prefer splitting the bill cause would just feel guilty. when splitting bill i mean i pay for what i had and he pays for what he had.

If it's a first date,the man has to pay for it.When relationship get too settled both of you can agree on a 50-50 share.

If a guy asks me out on a date, I expect for him to pay. If it is my boyfriend, I go about 50-50.

Split the check. End of story. I would never let any guy pay for me. If he insisted, he'd never see my face again. My feminist foremothers worked hard for my equality, and I'm damn sure going to enjoy it.
