i was told to take anti-inflametory pills for my tmj. They help with the swelling around the area. it work very well. Some severe cases of TMJ may require surgery, but mine didnt.

TMJ is cause by swelling or inflamation in the jaw due to grinding teeth, chewing, crossbites, and can be complecated by ear infections.

There are a number of treatments for TMJ that dont require surgury one is a mouth guard that you were at night. You can ask your doctor about perscription anti inflammatories to help reduce the swelling.
