it doesnt have to be elaborate. just a card or maybe some flowers.if you know them really well you could get them something related to a hobby they have or something that interests them. if it was me, id be happy with my friend telling me how much id helped followed by a hug(chocolates are good for me too!!). you sound very caring and thoughtful, im sure your friend will be happy with whatever you choose. xxx

It would depend on the person. Do they like lotions and perfume?. Does the person like to eat out? Do they have a favorite musical group/singer, or do they have any type of hobby. A really funny or a heart felt card, with a personal note of appreciation from you, and a gift certificate to for any of that person's favorite things, is always a good gift. Also the gift of your time, taking the person out to a movie, a friendly dinner, etc..is always nice too.

I will buy them something that they have been wanting for sometime ! well i wouldnt buy them something i would simply give them my heart which includes my love and care for them :D

a box of chocolates, cadbury roses, they say thank you then you can eat em off his/her body.
