I have a project where I need to sing and record it digitally so that I may sync it after in Windows Movie Maker. But I don't know any program that is FREE so that I may record the song in the PC mic. My Windows Sound Recorder is missing. I don't have it here. Please Help!!

You could get your sound recorder back by going to control panel and add/remove programs then add/remove windows features, but it only records for 60 seconds. I like Audacity which you can download from www.download.com this will allow you to mulitrack and apply all sorts of effects. There is a plug-in as well if you want to export as MP3.

Try Audacity. It works great. Can save as mp3, wav, ogg, etc.
