I have this Christian friend who lives in Arab. His english is partial but still understandable. One day he came to me and said
"Arek, why did the Christians in the US called Jesus Satan? They kept saying Allah is satan, Allah is this, Allah is that, is America turning into Satanists now? I thought Christians know that Jesus is Allah?"
Now what should I tell this arabic Christian of mine?

This is not a tricky question at all. Tell your friend that Jesus is not Allah that is Jesus is not God. He is Lord. He is the Son of God. I am a Catholic and I am saying this with complete knowledge and understanding. Now when Jesus is not God then how can the accusations your friend makes against Christians be true? God is the Father, who created us. Jesus is the door to the Father and the Holy Spirit is God's power. That is what the trinity is about.

Actually, Allah is the equivalent of God for muslims, while Jesus would be more like a prophet. At least that is what I know from my limited knowledge. For christians, Jesus is the son of God.
Please tell your friend that if he is Christian, Jesus is not Satan, neither is he Allah. Christians do not regard Allah as God or Jesus.

Why I am giving up on Islam? Because I have received admissions from muslims here that...
even if almost all the terrorists are muslims (which is true),
even if muhammad did have sex with a 9 year old girl (also true),
even if muhammad had lied for Satan to protect his arrse (also true)
even if the q'uran clearly teaches terrorist dogma especially against Jews and Christians (absolute truth).
MUSLIMS...will still tell you that islam is peaceful. And they will not hesitate to kill you to prove it

Well, many American Christians do not understand that Allah is the Arabic word for God. Many of them seriously believe that Allah is some sort of Pagan Moon Deity, and to them any Deity they perceive as Pagan to them as Satanic.

Not once ever, did Jesus say his name was Allah. Not once in God's Holy Bible. Jesus is not just a messenger of God as told in their book. It's all lies and all so very wrong. If he is Christian, he should know this... I'm not at all trying to judge him. I'm just taking your information and talking about it. If he is Christian, he needs to read the right book and not the one the Muslims use.
By the way, Allah is as was foretold in God's Holy Bible in the Book of Revelation, a false Messiah!

I would explain it to him that there is miscommunication or misunderstanding on what each of us believe. Christians here have a hard time calling God by any other name except maybe Jehovah, Lord or Father.
And, to the person who stated is there secret sect in Islam. You should really study up on Islam.
Muslims believe many of the same things as Christians:
-Mary is the holiest woman, she never sinned, and gave birth to Jesus as a virgin (Immaculate conception).
- Jesus never sinned
- Jesus is/was the holiest person to walk the Earth - unlike Moses, Joseph, Abraham and Mohammed, Jesus never sinned
- Many Muslims believe Jesus never died and was alive when he went up into Heaven
and
-that Jesus will return to defeat the anti-Christ "mutavafika" (توفيك) at the end of time.

I believe the word Allah translates into the word God. So you both are speaking of the same entity or person. Help him understand that Christians are looking for the same thing Muslims are, when it comes to the inner workings of the heart!

I am confused my Muslim friend told me that he believed that Jesus was just a prophet. Is there a new sect of Islam I haven't heard about?
