If you have a recovery CD of a preinstaled (OEM) XP yes. If you just have the XP system install CD from Microsoft you will also need to download and save on CD, DVD or flash drive or other hard drive (external or internal) all the drivers such as graphics and video, sound, wireless card, Ethernet, chipset and processor, etc before proceeding to a clean install of XP

That's enough, but make sure you also have the key code for that cd. Otherwise you will not be able to activeate the product again after install.

yes, of course u can..
only a winXP CD is much enough...
just restart ur pc and at the starting enter CD in CD crive..
it will go thru some steps... follow them. and format ur pc

but remember that for more security use NTFS format of drives...
select quick format using NTFS when asked

u need bootable disc.
reboot ur pc.
Start ur Pc with bootable CD.
it will open a dos version.
type command
format /u/q/ C:
to format c: drive.
then install OS.
