This looks really positive, but i wouldn't ask him out just yet if he had a recent breakup. Anyway he will probably ask you out soon enough lol. If he already trusts you and loves like a friend.... why not just wait and see where the next level takes you?

This is a tricky one... you are in love with your "almost the perfect bestfriend"... honestly, if you take this friendship to the next level, it will affect your relationship it could be good or bad, you will never know unless you tell him.
BUT I suggest you tell him what you feel as early as now before you fall in love with him more its much harder to accept if he turns out not interested when you're so much in love with him.
BUT then, taking your time may also be good... strategize then eventually confess your feelings when you feel you have caught him in the right moment... like looking at you with googly-eyes... good luck!

so, just be his friend as u were and even are. he already said that he needs no gf..after few dayz, when he finds u affectionate enough as u helped him in his worst moments of lyf, he will himself approach u!
dont worry, boyz take a little tym and galz need to be patient!

Sexual tension unresolved can ruin a friendship just as easily as having sex. Stop overthinking this. You love him... but don't want to ruin a friendship by becoming romantically (read sexually) involved with him.... hmmm.. doesnt make much sense. If you dig the man, as he seems to dig you... then just do it.... of course he is wary of a relationship... so play it smart... otherwise... bone him already. It may release alot of tension between the two of you.

ha you missed your perfect oprotunity to ask him you shoulda said a loving friend like me but what if I wanted to date you. Then if he said no you coulda played it off as you were joking and trying to make him feel better.
But maybe just try spending a little bit of time with him and warming up to him and ask him how he really feels.

don't ask him out yet, you will be a re-bound if he says yes, he wants you as a girl-mate who will give him hugs, make him feel better when you compliment him, go round to his with a dvd and a pizza and a few beers and have a good night been a good mate to him
