Yes, but not what it sounds like. They are fallen angels, also known as demons. They can take the form of anything. Beware of them. Don't do like some do and think you can contact the 'ghost" of the dead. It's a lie. The dead are either in Heaven or hell. Here are a few verses you might want to take a look at.
Deuteronomy 18:10-12
Leviticus 19, 31, 20:6
Here is a website with more information on this subject.

The demons like to scare people. Sometimes they pretend to be people who have died. They may even imitate voices of those who have died. In this way the demons fool many into believing that dead people are alive and can talk with the living. Yes, the demons cause many people to believe in ghosts.
So we must be on guard that Satan and his demons do not fool us. The Bible warns: ‘Satan tries to make himself look like a good angel, and his servants do the same.’ (2 Corinthians 11:14, 15) But, really, the demons are bad. Let’s see how they may try to get us to be like them.
Where do people learn a lot about violence and improper sex and spirits and ghosts?— Isn’t it from watching certain television shows and movies, playing computer and video games, going on the Internet, and reading comic books? Does doing these things bring us closer to God or closer to the Devil and his demons? What do you think?—
Who do you think wants us to listen to and watch bad things?— Yes, Satan and his demons do. So, what do you and I need to do?— We need to read, listen to, and watch things that are good for us and that will help us to serve Jehovah. Can you think of some of these good things that we can do?—
If we do what is good, there is no reason to be afraid of the demons. Jesus is stronger than they are, and they are afraid of him. One day the demons cried out to Jesus: “Did you come to destroy us?” (Mark 1:24) Won’t we be happy when the time comes for Jesus to destroy Satan and his demons?— In the meantime, we can be sure that Jesus will protect us from the demons if we keep close to him and his heavenly Father.
Let’s read about what we need to do, at 1 Peter 5:8, 9 and James 4:7, 8.

NO,
Here is the condition of the dead, straight from the Bible.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6Â Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.
NO ACTION AT ALL AFTER DEATH.
So what is it that haunts houses?
It is demons. the Bible confirms they exist. Mathhew ch 8 and Luke ch. 5
They have the ability to make themselves look like deceased people.

Eccl.9:5 tells us:"For the living are conscious that they will die butas for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all..."
In the account of the death of Jesus' friend,Lazarus,Jesus told his disciples that he was going to awaken Lazarus from 'sleep'.(John11:11).And in Gen.3:19 Jehovah reminds Adam and Eve that they "are dust and to dust you will return."
The Bible is quite clear that when we die we don not exist anymore.Immortality of the soul is not a Bible teaching.
'Ghosts' are nothing more than demons playing tricks on humans and deceiving them.

yes they do
although they are not what many people think they are
they are not trapped spirit , and do not haunt people
they are nothing but left over energy ( residual energy )
just a memory left over , imprinted on the atmosphere .... and nothing to worry about
spirit do exist but again not in the way most think
they do communicate ( with mediums ) but do not haunt or hang around.... would you ?
