Nope.

You get just enough to coast into the nearest filling station.

Depends on the dealer. They normally come with the bare minimum, enough to move it around and get the punter off the premises to the nearest filling station. Some dealers will fill the tank for you, but don't think you're getting it for nothing, it'll be allowed for in the deal figures somewhere!

You might be able to haggle that into the equation when talking about the deal, along with mats etc., though, again, a smart salesman will have allowed for it and be very happy if he didn't have to supply it.

All my vans (6 in the last 12 months) from the same dealer came with 20 litres of fuel. Considering that that equates to £80,000 worth of business you'd think that they would top up the tanks.
I get told that i've bought the vehicle pre-registered so they have no more margin to pay for free fuel.
I've ordered 3 from another dealer 'cos they promised me full tanks.£40,000 in lost business for £180 of fuel.
However to asnwer your question, no most come with 1/4 of a tank or less.

Typically, no.

Cars are normally shipped with just a few liters of petrol (a couple of gallons of gas in American). Most shipping companies don't allow them to be shipped with more, especailly if the car is shipped by boat or rail.

Many manufacturers will road test every 50th car or so, so those may have a bit more (or a bit less!). When the dealer provides the vehicle for test driving, they may have to chip in a bit, but it's unlikely that they would fill the tank.

Nothing is standard on a new car. It depends on the dealer and the offer they make you. Delivery, registration, road tax (6 or 12 months'), a tank of fuel...you may, or may not have to pay for these. You could always haggle and ask if they will include the fuel!

Not unless it was part of the deal. A tank of fuel adds about £50 to the price of the car these days.

Usually they come with just enough petrol for you to get to the nearest station, around a gallon. If you have not bought the car yet try haggling with them for some freebies, ie tank of petrol car mats etc. If buying at the end of the month you are more likely to get a better deal as the salesmen are wanting to hit their targets

It is part of the routine, like if you buy a new Ford from a Ford dealer, (for example) it is supposed to automatically come with a full tank of gas, without any kind of paying extra for it. They basically forgot to do it. I would call and complain, or at least call and ask about it, you will at least be compensated for it in some sort, just for calling and asking. I GUARANTEE it.
