The size and they take different amounts of time cooking. Brown rice generally needs soaking before cooking and takes longer to cook than white rice.

You won't find sticky brown rice or brown pudding rice like you can with white rice.

I think short grain brown rice is stickier (more starch) than long grain brown rice (I eat them both). It's not quite as sticky as short-grain white rice though, I don't think.

Long grain also comes as "basmati" too.

Long grains just look nice and pretty in a dish.
Is just a different variety otherwise.
When I have a party, I like to serve long grains.

i don't think that there will be different. they are different in shape cuz they are grown in different places.
