It's unrelated to the thyroid. Did you injure yourself? It sounds more like an injury since a lump usually doesn't have any kind of "appearance". Often lumps under your arms are just clogged ducts but don't usually get the size of a gumball. Could be an infected lymph node which could cause some soreness. I wouldn't worry either way. If it persists, make an appointment with your md.

I don't think you're making too much. With the other symptoms you've described, it sounds like you probably have some type of infection in your lymphs.
Though it could be something more serious than an infection, you need to see your doctor, a physician's assistant, or a nurse practitioner bc only they will be able to test for infection or other things and THEN tell you whether medication, more tests (white count, etc.), or self-treatment is needed.
It could be something quite innocent, like a cyst that needs draining, blocked hair follicles and/or infected follicles, or an allergic reaction to your deoderant. Again, go get this checked out.

It could just be swollen lymph glands but they should be checked by a Dr; as the previous post suggested it could be related to breast cancer. {yes, guys do get breast cancer}
I get the same type of lumps if I use an antiperspirant type of deodorant, my Dr explained that the antiperspirants work by clogging up the pores and sometimes the result is swollen glands as you describe so try switching and see if they go away within a week. That's how long it took for me once I switched.
BTW, what did the dr say about your fatigue and sleeping? How old are you? Do you have any other odd medical problems? Just wondering about connections...

You could be sick and not even realize. You have tons of lymph nodes in and around the armpit area and it could simply be a lymph node that is swollen trying to fight a virus or infection inside of you. If it's tender, it's nothing to worry about. It could also be a simple benign cyst that will go away on it's own. If it becomes bothersome and doesn't go away or get less painful within the next day or two, you should see your doctor.

Its probably just a cyst. I've gotten them before myself and they are usually pretty painful and can get big very quickly unlike cancerous tumors, but, you should see a Dr. to rule that out. Usually cysts will go away on their own. There is something over the counter you can take but I don't remember (vitamin e?) that helps them go away. You need to ask a Dr. And no, has nothing to do with thyroid.

I've had this happen to me once or twice, I even been to the Doctor. I was allergic to my underarm deodorant. Do not put underarm deodorant on after a bath/shower or on broken skin, like if you just shaved. Or just get the unscented stuff. Also you must have sensitive skin. Stay away from harsh soaps/bodywashes.

Does it hurt if you poke it? Sometimes if it is a hot day there is a build up of bacteria in your sweat and this makes you swell. If this is what it is and you wash under your arms a couple of times a day then it should be gone in a couple of days. If not, seek doctors advice.

Uh oh. It could be a mass/cyst. It could be a tumor. Have it checked right away. It could turn out to be malignant = cancer.
