This is one of those questions that just invites bad advice. Girls telling you it was all his fault, guys saying that you drove him insane.
What happened? If you found yourself in this situation where someone is leaving you for talking too much about your ex, then you're both insecure.
He's too insecure to help you with your past.
You're too insecure to have dealt with it yet.
The problem began on the day you started dating him. It was too soon. You weren't over your ex entirely. You brought baggage into the relationship and it ruined it. It's not like you meant to. No one ever does. But now you've learned your lesson. You've got to be "whole" in yourself before you start looking for your other half. Nothing you can do about this particular event now, but you can prevent it from happening in the future.
Give yourself some "you" time. Spend time alone till you're happy on your own and don't even think or care about the past anymore. Drown yourself in fun and hobbies and friends and babies and small toy animals and whatever makes you smile.
Hope that helps.

Well, you said it yourself that you don't remember saying anything about your ex. Maybe his just making it up to make it like it was kind of your fault not his...so he can leave the easy way out....
But if you said that you really like this guy. Try to talk to him softly and ask him whats really the reason why he dumped you? tell him that you don't remember that your saying anything about your ex... maybe he could explain it to you more and you'll understand why...
either you end up back together or...not....thats just how it goes...
but if ever you find out that his just making it up just to get out....just let him go..atleast you know why...theres gonna be lots of guys better than him...and think it was his lost not yours.....

I really think u should get over him cuz if it was that easy for him to break up with u he's not even worth having in the first place, maybe he was just looking for a reason to break up.AND if it was that easy for him to stop"loving" u, he probably didnt love u inthe first place(no offense) so move on and get another guy who can appreciate u.

Being Dumped sucks. But it happens.
Maybe he is just making it up as an excuse to dump you? If so he is a jerk, and you will be better off.
