Congratulations on your choice of weapons! I picked up my USP .45 on an excellent deal. It's my regular weapon & I wouldn't carry anything else, even with a Glock and a Government 1911A1, among others, in the gun locker!
One of the best sites to search for your USP is: http://www.gunbroker.com . If anyone has one, it'll probably be there. Not only that, but. if you find one, you can register(if you haven't already) and purchase on-line. You just have to arrange to have your weapon shipped to a local FFL dealer to complete the transaction and registration.
With a little luck, you may find a dealer with your USP in your state of residence within driving distance, so you won't be tagged extra for S&H and transfer.

The HK is a very good handgun and the USP is perfect in many ways. The company is coming out with a new .45 later this year. Initially it was developed to compete in a military contract but the contract has since been cancelled so they will be sellnig to the general public!

Good luck in your choice!

I would listen to Grizzly. He always posts about the merits of H&K and seems knowledgeable. Also check out http://www.impactguns.com/store/heckler_and_koch.html for more pricing and options.
