Drinking water does not make you gain weight. There are virtually no calories in water. Your intake of water depends on the situation. In warmer weather and higher activity level, you will need to drink more water than a cooler climate and a lower level of activity level. Too much water is bad for you. But people suffer far more often from not getting enough water than too much. I don`t know your situation so i can`t say if more than 2 litres is bad for you personally. In general, more than 2 litres is alot. Tap water isn`t particually good for you, so when you drink water try to make sure you drink bottled or filtered water. Hope this helps, everyone have differnet requirements.

How susceptible one is to the dangers of hyponatremia (water poisoning) seems to be partially dependent on body weight, how much food is in the system, and other factors not yet understood which make up individual variation in response. The body has a system for regulating electrolyte balance and it eliminates excess fluids through urination. Some people's urine regulation systems (partially controlled by Anti-Diuretic Hormone [ADH], also called vasopressin) do not respond as quickly in some circumstances.

2 liters is a little over half a gallon. The common advice is 8-10 8 oz of water a day... so 64 - 80 oz/day.
You won't gain fat from drinking water. You will gain water weight.... ironically, one of the best ways to deal with bloating is to drink water.
You will not lose weight just by drinking water tho. Your metabolism will go into starvation mode and you're body will grab on to every fat cell it can.

water(no calorie?) intake has nothing to do with wt. gain...ok.
taking 2 litres a day is quite normal. it will cleanse the body fulid system...............ok.

but, the nuisance value?
to overcome it,do not gulp water in larges glasses.
practise sipping or drinking very less every time you feel the thirst. keep a water bottle and just wet your throat to quench your thirst.this way you can reduce your water consumption and the nuisance value.
do not reduce water intake drastically as it would lead to accumulation of wastes in the body.
water helps the working of kidneys etc. reduce water consumption only to the extent o curtailing the nuisance it causes.
don't drink water before going to bed,as it would wake you up in the middle o your sleep at mid nights.

will you gain weight on the scale? ya. 2 litres is heavy. of course you'll gain weight...

however, will you gain any body fat? no. Its just "water weight" and you will lose it through exercise or just everyday living.

2 liters is quite a bit of water, but it wont hurt you. You'll have to pee all the time and you will feel a lot of bloating. just dont drink any more than a gallon. more than a gallon will leave you very uncomfortable and you just wont see any health gains. not worth it.

You can drink as much water as you want a day, but you can only have so many calories.

There are no calories in water, but you can actually drown yourself if you drink too much water. I swear to this.

if you drink too much water it will lead to water intoxication, just drink 8 glasses or water bottles of cold water (makes your body work harder to warm up the water, thus burning fat).
