Yes, I think so. But no senses and no peeking? Huh? We all live in cubes in a way though. Square/cube houses & apartments. Except for the few in futuristic round dwellings.

Reminds me of a movie I saw, called "The Cube". A giant, mysterious "cube", that had traps in every room AND unwilling participants -- who had to find a way to escape, without being killed by the booby-trapped rooms. The only thing they ultimately lost, besides their lives, was their sanity.
