well you see someone thought we had too many mean, ugly, rough creatures and invented this little ,furry, wide eyed,wonderful,fuzzy, purring animal. too make their fur extra soft they put in a extra shot of snuggle softener.

I don't know and it ruined my macho and moody image at work when one of the girls brought her 3 month old kitten into the office. I went very daft and started making whooing sounds and storked the cat as I held him. LOL
My kittens are the greatest kittens in the world!

Egyptians actually domesticated cats and worshipped them which is where it started that people owned cats. Because of domesticating them, they are kept cleaner and healthier so their fur is softer. Being domesticated has also made them accepting of humans (unless they are feral).

One of my cats is soft and cuddly, but my darling Kaffe is most definitey NOT soft. He is compact, muscular but abit overweight short hair tabby. His coat is soft but his body is not. :(

If they looked like toads, we'd be killing them all. Soft and suggly and big eyes make kittens appealing so we feed themm and look after them.

they kill muppets and characters from sesame street when no one looking. thus the soft and snugglyness.
