Basically, your business can't run until repairs are made. Insurance and whatnot will cover the repairs. But, meanwhile, you aren't able to make any money to pay your bills. Can you sue for the lost income? This actually with an underage driver with no license, and I know the parents would be the ones you sue.

The driver lost control of the car due to the street being slippery (it was raining in LA).

It would depend on whether it was negligence, a deliberate act or an unforeseen event (act of God). The under age thing is a complication, but the lack of a licence may add to your case as he was committing an offence and he shouldn't have been there anyway.
