I had asked a question very similar to this recently, and was disappointed with the responses. It seems as though some beleivers in God(jews, muslims, christians) don't spend too much time stressing about this issue because the final day on earth has been determined by God and when that time comes it will be inevitable However mUslims do not believe in wasting anything that can be of good use.
This would make it hard to prevent the rapid increase of global warming on an international level, due to the many countries ruled by religious theocracy.

The earth’s weather system is astonishingly complex, and scientists cannot state with certainty what—if any—the effects of global warming are. However, many believe that as a result of global warming, there has been increased rainfall in the Northern Hemisphere, drought in Asia and Africa, and escalating El Niño events in the Pacific. Is God doing anything about it? Not at presesnt but shortly he will. Revelation 11:18 says that he will 'bring to ruin those ruining the earth' and though we cant say for certain that man has created global warming, that scripture tells us one thing...that God is interested in what happens to the earth. Man is ruining the earth in many ways though and God will soon act.
God will replace the corrupt system of human rulership with an entirely new system. Before brushing off that idea as religious nonsense, consider this: Who would know more about the needs of earth’s environment than its Creator? Does he not have a vested interest in what happens to this planet? The Bible makes it clear that he does, saying at Isaiah 45:18 that Jehovah is “the true God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited.” To fulfill that purpose, God can and will intervene.
God will do this by bringing in a new government, or kingdom, to manage the earth. When Christians pray the so-called Lord’s Prayer and say, “Let your kingdom come..on earth,” they are asking for this government to take over. (Matthew 6:9, 10) God’s Kingdom, or government, will demonstrate an understanding of earth’s intricate natural cycles. It will thus be able to restore areas of the earth that have been ruined by pollution and environmental abuse. Isaiah 35:1, 6 says: “The desert plain will . . . blossom as the saffron. . . . For in the wilderness waters will have burst out, and torrents in the desert plain

Interesting that you mention global warming on the religion channel. The whole global warming frenzy is much like religious zealotry. It's all faith and little fact yet anybody who presumes to deny it is a heretic.
Question: Climate change is mostly the result of anthropogenic (human) causes. Agree or disagree?
This question was part of a survey answered by 530 climate scientists in 2003. Only 9.4% answered "strongly agree".

Yet the U.N. is telling us that they're 90% certain that global warming is caused by humans. The politicians spin the facts to fit their agenda.
Global warming may be the greatest work of fiction ever.

Global warming is a natural phenomenon it has happened in the past..I have no doubt it will sort itself out naturally.God will make sure of that. This government and the lefty greens are trying to make us responsible for all the world's ills so they can tax us and stop us driving sports cars and taking holidays.I for one will keep my Porsche, long haul flights etc. What's the point of living a boring life to extend the world's life by a couple of years in around 10,000 years time.We live now..enjoy your life..it is too short not to.

I am sure someone already stated this but God is responsible for global warming. How you ask by convincing billions of people this earth doesn't matter & that jesus will soon come & take all their sorry asses to heaven. Kind of makes global warming pretty insignificant

God will unleash his wrath upon the earth about Global Warming, and about the other ways man has nearly destroyed his earth. God will intervene before we destroy his creation, and all those responsible for this destruction will be dealt with severly.

past history is the best indicator of future performance, given the track record of what god has done throughout history I would think that he will sit this one out too. We will be left to our own devices.

you're dumb. God created us and gave us the gift of free-will. Since we have been granted this gift, we human beings have created global warming. its not his duty to do anything about global warming, since WE created the problem. if you actually READ the Bible, you would know the purpose behind his miracles.
