Sounds like she's having some separation anxiety. Did you buy her from a breeder? If so, ask them if you could bring a towel or blanket to rub on the mother and any possible pups they have left. The smell on something soft that she can cuddle with will make her feel a lot better. Also, in case you don't, try putting her in a crate. Puppies feel safe and secure in them and that could help as well. Just be patient with her. Keep in mind that her whole world is new and has all changed, it'll take time for her to adjust. Good luck, cocker spaniels are way too cute!!

Ur puppy is not a cry baby, that is a natural reaction to being away from her litter mates and mother. Put a soft blanket in her crate at night, some people also place a ticking clock wrapped in a towel in her crate to imitate the mothers heartbeat. The whimpering will stop after ur puppy gets a little older. Be patient. Take ur puppy outside every 2 hrs and especially after eating to do her business, when she does, praise her freely and reward with a treat. U must be consistent in doing this until she learns that is where she is to go, take her to the same spot so she can smell and remember why she is there. A puppy`s muscles r not developed enough to hold their urine and feces for long stretches until they r about 3/4 months old. Keep taking her out every 2 hrs whether she goes or not and expect accidents until she is a bit older. Enjoy ur cutie and good luck

She's a baby hon. It's going to take months, and months to potty-train her, and she is going to whine.
She has only been alive for about 10 weeks, and during 8 of those weeks, she had her momma. Now her momma is gone, and nobody snuggles with her at night, like her brothers and sisters used to do when she was with her mother.
She is afraid. This is so common...just give it time. It will stop.
I used to put them into bed with me. It helps a lot, but if you can't do that, then I do have a suggestion that might help.
Get a plastic dog crate and put her inside of it, with a warm bed, a toy or two and then put the radio next to her playing lightly on classical music.
She's going to yike really loud the first night, but not the second or third. It usually works within a day or two to calm them and to teach them that is their safe place to sleep.
The crate is like a dog's den. It becomes a safe place to be ...and the good thing is they don't potty in it while they sleep.
I really hope this helps. I can sympathize all the way around, with your puppy and with you. It's no fun not sleeping because of a whiney puppy.
Good luci. :)

Your puppy is still a baby and needs extra attention. Puppies are a lot of work - you are taking their mothers place and taking care of them and hopefully trying to raise them to be a happy and well adjusted dog.
There's a wonderful book called "How to Be Your Puppy's Best Freind". Go buy it tomorrow, read it as quickly as you can and apply the principles. There is no easy, one sentence or even one paragraph answer to your question. Your puppy is going to need lots of attention, training, guidance and love.
Just imagine how you would feel being ripped away from your mother and family at a few weeks old and being taken care of by a member of a different species who wasn't there all the time. You'd cry too.

Hi, You need to let here adjust to her new home. She's only 2 months old and she misses her mom and her brothers and sisters. You need to work with her on potty training. Take her out 20 minutes after she eats and every hour of the day so she can learn to go out side to do her business. You need to put a clock in bed with her and wrap it up with her flavorite blanket. This will sound something like mamas heart and she should calm down. When she is whining talk to her softly and let her know she is safe and you are with her,and won't let anything hurt her. Just do a lot of talking to her and she will hopely settle down. If you have to let her sleep with you,do it... This is how i potty trained all of my dogs. They will let you know when they have to go out. Don't worry your baby will be fine. A Dog Lover..

She still is a baby, put an alarm clock in her kennel-that will remind her of her Mom's heart beat. Right after you feed her, go outside with her and stay with her till she does her duty. A accident here and there is something that even a real baby has accident's.
Plus don't leave water in her kennel at night, most puppies won't pee and poo in the place they sleep in. Or get a book on training your puppy.

Why have been they removed from their dam and siblings that early? they could have remained interior the muddle until nicely previous 8 weeks of age. they are crying because of the fact they have been too youthful to bypass away abode. ***** even though if THE DAM DIED (and that throughout itself begets an entire new sequence of questions as to what got here approximately) they could nevertheless have remained with their siblings at their birthplace until a minimum of 8 weeks, if not longer. presents can consistently be returned, exceptionally whilst the well-being of the present is in question. the guy who gave you those puppies could have on no account presented them up at this age. She became interior the incorrect.

You obviously dont have much dog experience or knowledge of puppies. Your puppy is acting like any other normal puppy at that age. Give him love, affection and reassurance. Dont call him a "cry baby" as he is just a baby. Give and treat him with respect, and he will be your lifelong loyal best friend. Go read up on puppies development.

do you have her in a crate at night? I'm thinking she is lonely at night. If you put her in a crate at night, take one of your shirts or something else that has your scent on it and put it in there with her. This will make her think you are right there with her.
As far as going to the bathroom outside... it takes time, BELIEVE ME! We have a Rat Terrier puppy that used to take FOREVER to go potty outside. Be patient. If she doesn't go right away after 10 minutes, bring her back in and take her out again 10 min. later. Sooner or later, she will associate going outside means going to the bathroom. After she goes potty, bring her in and praise her. I wouldn't suggest treats right off the bat because she will only want to go outside to get a treat. Also, after she has gone potty outside, take her out again 30 minutes later. Keep doing it until she knows that she needs to go potty outside.
Sorry this is so long, but I just got finished housebreaking our puppy and she always lets us know when she has to go.
Just remember, it takes PATIENCE and a routine.
