he comes back and saying he still cares for me, i can feel he's been honest about it. do you think i could still trust him?

ur question doesnt have alot of details. i am guessing that he cheated. the answer to that is no. do not trust him.
i was dating a girl for 4 months and she cheated, i forgave her cuz she said she was basically "raped" well a year and a half later i find out shes been cheating on me again with the same dude. if u let them get away with it once they will try it again.
take my advice. dont take him back.
its hard to do, but dont. u are going to end up wasting time.

You don't have to trust him but if you do NOT have trust in ANY relationship, it's NOT healthy and can NOT grow. You have the right to be respected and to expect honesty from everyone. NEVER FORGET THAT.

Trust is somthing you have to rebuild. It depends on what he did to you to determain how much trust he has to regain. I think you should follow your heart and do what you feel is right. Good luck!
