IF you truely think the world is going to pot, have you laid in any kind of survival supplies and if so, what? Break it down into food, fuel, shelter and defense. Are regular canned goods good enough or have you purchased hundred dollar survival kits? What kind of fuel have you stored and how? Planning on staying in your primary residence or do you have a safe house in the woods? How are you going to defend your family and property from those who would loot it? Have you formed a cooperative with any other people? Or are you just going to do like in New Orleans and wait for the federal government to come save you?

Depends on what you are trying to survive...and for how long.
But yes..I am beyond prepared.
I don't have a huge stockpile of food..but I have to supplies and know how to make more food. And I have books..oh so many books of knowledge..like how to make medicine like insulin..cheesemaking..how to weave your own cloth..filter your water. We have black powder guns..I make our own bullets. Wood burning stoves..karosene for the lamps. Solar powered radios..marine radios..a generator. You name it..I've thought about it..I'm ready for the long haul.

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.

According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

I figure if a nuclear bomb or some sort of germ welfare is initiated then I might as well learn how to kiss my but goodbye. If we have an attack by ground assault then pretty much living without electric will be my main concern. I do alot of camping so I have the basic propane stove and dry food supplies but I am not going to worry about building a ground shelter in my back yard, would kinda like to know how though. Heat will also be a concern but ruffing it is ruffing it and when the government gives my right to bear arms back I will be able to defend myself.

Ok no one will help you. Food buy what you eat. I perfer cans long storage life. Also I recommend a low profile on what your doing. If you buy a gun put it away and always complain about people having guns. Most importantly water can't live very long without it. Medicines do you have what you need for say two weeks.

I don't like guns but anything can be a weapon. Blow guns, bows, bats darts whatever.

Let me tell you, if there would be an all out war between the US, China and the Russans, your survival kit would be worthless. I mean do you or anyone else really think that you could make through an all out nuke war??? No way,,by the time we dropped 40 they dropped another 40 or 50, yours and my survival would be moot.
