I know that Washington does not have a personal income tax but you get taxed on everthing you buy over there that is there form of taxing. So therefore I would be taxed to work in Oregon and live in Washington. What I was wondering is there a way to get some of that money back since essentially two states are taxing me just doesnt seem fair.

WA doesn't have an individual income tax so you won't have to worry about that. Since you still work in OR, you will still pay OR state income taxes. You will have to start filing OR non-resident returns once you move.

Many states have certain credits or deductions that only apply to residents so your tax liability could change.

It's not possible to say how much, if anything, you might get back on your OR tax return. You'll have to prepare the return to know where you sit on that.

Washington state does not have a personal income tax, so you will not have to file taxes there. You will still have to file an Oregon tax return to report your wages.

Paying sales tax on items you buy has nothing to do with paying income tax on your wages. The two are not related. You are not paying income taxes for two different states.
