I've seen those terms used rather frequently here in the R&S section, yet none of the religious folks I know elsewhere have ever heard of them or use them, to be able to define them if asked. I'm curious what those mean exactly.

moderate would be the middle of the two extremes. liberal religous folk tend to take the basic morals and ideas of their religion. while conservatives go more strictly according to the text that accompanies their folklore. moderates are kind of inbetween the two.

Hmm, I'll go with this. There is a sliding scale:

[ Atheism | Agnosticism | Deism | Postmodern Theism / Liberalism | Conservative Theism / Orthodoxy | Fundamentalism ]

So a religious liberal is someone who isn't a doctrinaire. Examples of religious liberals: Catholics who support birth control, Evangelicals who accept evolution, etc. Ultimately I guess liberals don't consider their religion the only "true" religion.

liberals have no yes or no answers its all live and let live and you see what a mess this has made us Conservatives believe you must have co sequences for your actions

Liberal=do what feels good,who cares what the Bible said.
(Abortion ,homosexuals,adultery,dunkards,....)
Conservative=The Bible said it, I live by it.<><
