people are aware about civic sense... as we do... however before asking them to behave themselves THE AUTHORITIES SHOULD PROVIDE CIVIC AMENITIES FOR THE PUBLIC... say spit bins, urinals, rest rooms, toilets in public places and on the highways... the authorities should also ensure maintenance of all these facilities...

why don't the government open a MINISTRY OF PUBLIC AMENITIES AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT... such ministry is just missing... whereas it should have been established by now...

Firstly, we need to teach General Public about dos and donts in public. This could be done thru' placing ads. in TV, Bill Boards, News Papers : in all possible ways to reach max no. of Indians.

Now we have to implement those strictures by imposing fine or punishment.

e.g. Not using the Zebra Crossing : One may be asked to sit on the corner of the road for 15 mints.

I heard that Govt of Kerala has banned spitting in public.
Else you are subject to spot fine.
A great move towards teaching public disclipine.

We can make the general public aware of civic sense. We have limit, seema.
You do good, your duty. You can not force others to do in same way.
I like lassi. I can NOT force my wife to take lassi. I am not interested in tea. She is interested in tea. She force me to take tea. Is this a good civic sense? She can always eat as per her choice and she shouldl try to give me as per my choice. This is civic sense.
