It just doesn't make sense...its just a bunch of letters and a few other stories, but overall is inconsistent with the old testament and even itself. Not to mention the letters in the bible are a small fraction of the letters written by christian leaders after the birth of christianity. It has been influenced and altered considerably by many different, powerful people...Constantine, multiple scribes of different eras, catholics, protestants, greeks, romans, egyptians, etc.. a lot of it doesnt even make sense--and it definitely, to my understanding, does not support a lot of fundamental christian doctrines and traditions--like the trinity and sunday worship and war etc... any help, from maybe a pastor or something?

The major reason that the New Testament letters are in the Bible is how widely accepted they were when they were written. The early churches took into consideration who wrote them, and what kind of authority they had, etc. They were then spread out to the other churches. When they decided on the canon, it was pretty much a no-brainer which books would make up the New Testament, as everyone already had copies and agreed on them.

Although you claim that these texts have been altered from the original manuscripts, there is not a single shred of evidence to back up that statement. The trinity is a clear teaching in the Bible, first mentioned at creation. Sunday worship was instituted after the Bible was completed, however, Paul wrote to "honor the day unto the Lord:" Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, whatever.

1.Yes,it is consistent.I'm not sure why you would say otherwise.
2.No,it has not been altered, influenced,or changed throught the centuries. We have over 6,000 Greek copies of the New Testament, which were faithfully copied again, and preserved throughout the centuries. These copies are 99.5% textually pure, with the only differences between them, being an occsional mispelled/ommitted word. These copies are extremely accurate. It has not been influenced by Constantine/Greeks/Romans/Eygptians/what-have-you.
3.Yes,it does make sense-to me anyway. But I suppose it could be a little difficult for some.
4.Uh,your understanding is wrong. The New Testament definitely supports Christian doctrine.

The letters and gospels of the New Testament are just that a testament of Father God's perfect solution for the salvation of the humanity that He loved but that had turned so far away from His will for mankind. It is the truth of His coming and His promise of the Kingdom of God on a new earth with Jesus as Lord to the glory of God the Father.

It seems like you just found the truth. If it were only a bunch of letters with non sense there will not even be a section like this on Yahoo! Answers.
The point is this questions has been asked since the beginning.
So Why there are still millions of people that blindly believe in the Bible?

Jesus Christ came here, not to change the Old Testament, but to fulfill the Old Testament. The Bible is the Word of God and the New Testament is about how Jesus died on the cross for our sins. The New Testament is the new law which Jesus Christ set down.

It represents the Age of Taurus, notwithstanding the numerous reason is this. The holy spirit grows out of the holy crap of the holy cow. Jesus, Krishna, Buddha, and Dionysus between many others are basically compound gods personifications of the daylight and psychoactive mushrooms. the historic human beings worshipped the daylight and hallucinogenic flora. Psilocybin mushrooms strengthen in cow dung, in case you locate an image of the Hindu God Krishna he's psilocybin blue colored. In India lots of the individuals follow the cows round gathering their urine and drink it. i trust they do this because the cows eat their own crap jointly with the mushrooms, and individuals would from time to time get intense off the cows urine. maximum religions have banished "god" the drugs in the previous, yet all of them originated from Astrotheology and Shamanism and that is what the memories are about.
