when you deplane - there will be a uniformed airline attendant at the gate-
ask them for directions to your next gate - it's 'their' airport
and they work there every day
walk determinedly (izzat a werd?) like you know where you are going - -no FEAR! - and if it looks rough - ask if someone could escort you to that gate - they should be more than happy to!
Have a Great Flight

im assuming you are flying on American because Chicago and Dallas are its two biggest hubs. Luckily, this means that almost all the personel will American. When flying in, the flight attendent will announce connecting gates and flight status. On the TV screens will be a map of the airport, unless you have a B777. Then, ur personal TV will show all this information via Gate Connect. Chicago is a simple airport to connect in because all American gates are within 5 minutes of each other. Just look on the many screens around the airport to find your gate and follow the easy signage. On the other hand, Dallas is THE WORST AIRPORT TO CONNECT IN. Luckily, 89% of all Dallas flights are American. MAke sure you take advantage of the automated inter terminal train in DFW. All the terminals are half circles. Terminals A, C, and E are on the east side of the main north south road and B and D are on the west. Note that D is the international terminal. All domestic American flights are B and C while American Eagle is A (Regional), and E is all other airlines. GOOD LUCK!

Don't worry! I was worried just like you the first time I flew alone. And I was really suprised how easy it was! When you get to Chicago, check your ticket and that will tell you what gate you have to go to for your next flight. Or you can check your flight number on your ticket and check all those tv scrrens they have and that will tell you what gate and if it's on time, ect. There are signs all over directing you where your gate is. just look up! And if you ever have any questions, ask the checkin lady or an airport employee. They are always more than helpful!

How fun! There will be no trouble at all. Directions are always marked pretty well. Chicago, O'Hare airport is pretty big but easy to navigate. If you are nervous, just ask your flight attendant to give you exact directions to the next gate. The know the airports inside and out. There are also maps in most in flight magazines. On your way to the gate, if you get nervous just ask a passerby or a security guard. You will be a pro at it after this one trip! Good luck! I wish it were me flying off somewhere!

you should be fine .... just ask folks and look at the gate updates when you deboard. Sometimes the attendant will read off what gate your next flight is on ... she'll just come on the mic and say "Chicgao is boarding at gate B12 .... Dallas at C22 ... etc"
As long as you have a little time (at least an hour to find your way to the next gate you will be ok. Good luck.

Make sure that you know what gates your connecting flightd will be leaving from. Ask the Flight attendant to help you figiure out how to get there from your arrival gates.
Dallas and Chicago are both very big airports and it is perfectly alright to ask for help in finding your way.

You can always ask an airline employee to walk you to your next gate or point you out the directions. You'll be fine!
Have a safe flight.

You will be fine - just make sure you talk to the airline people- and they will direct you to where to go- and it doesn't hurt to talk to a flight attendant-I am one- and if I met you -I would walk you to your next gate-as in most F/A's are good like that- you will be ok
