Hi! I'm writing my research paper for medicine and I really have trouble on the word's spacing. Because there are lines that just cannot be adjusted. I am using a 1.5 spacing and it really looks uneven because some lines won't move. What must I do?

Try removing all formatting from the word document and then reapplying either the 1.5 spacing or double spacing from the FORMAT>PARAGRAPH menu.

It should affect the entire document completely. The main problem I've had with Word in the past is that it sometimes makes new pages at the 'default' spacing and needs to be reformatted.

On the toolbar there is a backwards facing capital P thing - click on that and it will display the non printing characters that control the formatting - if you then look at the lines you will hopefully see that different formating characters apply to your errant lines - these formattinh characters can de deleted

Another way is to select the text and press ctrl + n this removes any formatting you can then reformat the text
