Trouble with Window Media Player 11~Slow, crackling sound in playback?

My WMP11 is giving me a headache. Any CD I play sounds slow and theres a distortion in sound like a crackling. When I play the CD in my Winamp its fine. Help!

Re-installing the application will fix the problem...
