can you have 6x9's, subs and an amp?

Question

i have 6x9s in the back near the window of my car, if i wanted subs, what should i be looking for?

okay so if i add another amp would i be able to add a sub?

oh no i dont need a big woofer or anything. im not that enthusiastic about it. but i do love bass.

i have already replaced the front speakers and 6 x9s and i have a small amp. all products by pioneer

but of course, you can either buy another amp and run the subs from that one, or just disonnect the amp you have from your speakers and use that for your subs. For awesome sound quality i would go with a set of Boston accoustic speakers, they don't produce any bass but they sound amazing. As for subs, stick with smaller ones( 10s or 12s) they will give you a much cleaner sound

get rid of your 6x9, 6x9s are for people who want bass..but dont have money for a sub. Get good speakers up front..the Round ones..and good sub. Ur sub will drown out the bass from the 6x9's anyways. Just get One Amp that can power your front speakers, and sub. 4 or 5channel amp

No, you don't need 2 amp, that would be just waste of money. For cheaper set ups, just leave the speaker away from the amp, let the H/U power it as stock factory vehicle. Then use the original amp to power the sub. There are a lot of way to set it up, depends on how much you want to spend.

if your planning to buy a big sub(like a 12" fosgate or kicker L7) you better buy a separate amp for it. also buy a crossover so you get more out of your sub and get clarity in your sound system. just buy an inexpensive amp for your separates and get a nice woofer amp for your sub.

i used a 4-way amp before for everything and i wasnt very satisfied with my bass blasting. and it could easily ruin the amp. in any case 2 amps are better than one.

k if i get what your saying, ur asking if u can have subs? well yes, and u need an amp to run the subs.

bigger amps. get 2 amps you need a secondardy to run subs alone.
