weve been best friends for 12 years. then we started dating and now he called it off. cos he doesnt have the emotional strength after he lost his dad and sister in August. im a bad person to fill that is some crappy excuse

Yes, actually, you are being a little selfish to think that's an excuse. He lost his sister. He lost his father. It's not even been a year, and with tragic, sudden deaths, people can take 2 years to go through the grieving process. You should be concerned with his well being rather than your own. If you are truly his best friend, then you will understand why he did this. Losing two people is hard. Having to deal with the fact that they will NEVER come back is something totally different. His heart is torn apart right now and you need to just be a friend to him. Realize that he is hurting a great deal right now.

That kind of loss can turn a person's life upside down and it can take a long time to heal from that. He may not have it inside himself to give what it takes to be in a decent relationship.

he lost TWO family members. not one..

don't rush him. dont blame him. whats your problem?

put yourself in his situation. what if you lost your dad and brother? and guys want to have sex with you. you wouldn't want to. exactly

dont rush the poor guy give him time and show that u care and waiting for him to heal
