Sky is blue beacuse of raleigh scattering..the effect which splits light..and makes it lighter beacuse of the bright sun. Grass is green because of chlorophyll..It is the green substance present in leaves beacause of photosynthesis..This would be scientific explanation..The alternative and simple answer would be : Beacuse God Wanted Them To Be........

It was said that, the colours of the rainbow i.e. VIBGYOR were scattered and the one which was scaterred the most was blue by which we see that the sky is blue.Orange and red were also scattered and that is why, the colour of the sky during sunrise or sunset is a bit orange and red in colour.
Grass is green because of the presence of chlorophyll in it.

Because your mind registers the specific reflective light spectrum from the sky and grass.
