I am allergic to morphine and have been looking online for a retailer that sells cheaper medical id bracelets. I do not want to spend over $30 including engraving and shipping and handeling... anyone know of a place I could find this?

Go to a place like Walmart. There in the jewelry department you will find blank ID bracelets. For a low fee they will engrave it with anything you would like to say.

The advantage to the more expensive ones through the drug store, is that a phone number and an ID number is available for medical/hospital personnel to access your basic medical records to see just what your full medical problems are -- this is benefitial when you cannot speak for yourself in an emergency.

Try the MedicAlert foundation in Turlock, CA. They are one of the nation's oldest such foundations and their inexpensive bracelets and necklaces are recognized around the world and not confused with jewelry.
