I am 21 and i haven't dated in about 5 years - i have been in a committed relationship all this time. N.E way i am single now and there is this guy that i have been interested in for a while and i really want to approach him.
I am pretty sure that he is attracted to me cuz he is always staring ,saying hi to me etc. even we don't talk much.
I have never approached a guy before because i usually wait until i am approached. This time i don't really want to wait.
I decided that talking to him abt. my feelings is out of the question because i will sound nervous and he will not be able to see the wonderful person that i really am.

The question is: Would i come off as being lame if i pass him a note in class telling him that i think he is really hot and i want to get to know him better?
This would probably be o.k. in high school but is it too immature for a 21 yr old girl to do this?

He is a bit quiet so i am not surprised that he hasn't approached me

This is going to sound REALLY LAME, but just trust me! Go to Taco Bell, get some hot sauce and pick which "message" you'd like to tell him, just to break the ice. It's not high school, it's fun and a little romantic, if I might say. Last summer when I was at work, there was a guy that used to come into my office, that obviously had a crush on me, but was shy. That's what he did with the Taco Bell sauce. He just came in and tossed it at me, after I read it, we both laughed (and blushed), and we've been talking ever since! It was just a nice "ice breaker". Try it! Good luck!

he's in simple terms no longer into you. And he can't be. that does no longer advise there is something unavoidably incorrect with you, yet you may desire to provide up obsessing because of the fact your strikes won't replace him. the sole ingredient that gets him out of your head is time. attempting to touch him can't help.

That's very high school. I'd suggest that you ask him out. You don't have to be in a rush to tell him about your feelings, he'll be able to figure that out. Just relax and enjoy each other.
