I'm sure this lady called the police and they wanted to see your dogs rabies certificate-- so you are in the clear---what the child needs will totally be up to the discretion of his physician. Anti-rabies shots may cause more harm than good since they cause serious side affects and make you really ill and there would be no reason to get them since your dog was vaccinated..............ps keep your dog away from that lady and kid........I hope she was trespassing on your property or you may want to see a lawyer- she may file a civil suit against you if your dog was loose. good luck to you and your doggie

If your dog is still alive after 14 days from the incident, then it is not infected with rabies. Still, most people want to make sure that they are safe and hence, wanted an anti-rabies vaccine. My son had an anti rabies vaccine and ATS when he was a kid and yes, it really made him sick. Your doctor is the best person who can evaluate and make a sensible decision on the vaccination or treatment. You may want to have the doctor's discussion or the pros and cons in the presence of the mother's child so that they would also be well-informed regarding this matter.

Well easy check up the dog, sent saliva or blood, or make a vet check it, if it had rabies then it would be good, but if it doesnt i known for a fact that the rabies vaccine is extremely painful.

that´s good some children are very dangerous
watch the dog carefully to see if he devellops anything.

if the child has not shown any signes of anything by now,
it should also be ok
