yes its for grinding and a under bite to reduce pian and grinding until i get braces and i have to wear it all the time

If it is for grinding your teeth, no it does not hurt. It is so anoying though. Sometimes I wake up in the moring in pain but it is from grinding and biting down on it all night. It is hard plastic and it protects your teeth from night time grinding.
