What would you do?

Here's the rules -- God is allowing you the opportunity to take over his duties for one day. Remember that any changes you make will continue for eternity, God isn't going to reverse things once he resumes his position. So any changes you make, you have to live with them also.

If I were god for a day, I would assign a committee to rewrite the bible, quran, book of mormon, and all self-proclaimed holy books so that they cannot be misinterpreted. I would get rid of the contradictions, and put the apologists out of business with their assinine theories. I would eliminate all vagueness and write it precisely.

Next I would schedule mass appearances to all my beloved humans so none may doubt my existence. I would offer all eternal life, and remove death. I would correct all wrongs and eliminate all evil. I would not require any compensation for that. I will not require people to worship me or build churches to me, or let me into their hearts.

Then I will retire.

Cute question. Why is it needed? There are so many people in the world who are positive they know exactly what God wants and are eager to make everyone else follow their rules.

If I were God, I'd do some impossible-to-ignore miracles that made it perfectly and inarguably clear that 1. I exist; 2. I expect all My children to love one another as much as they love themselves; 3. I expect all My children to take care of the earth and make it a better place; 4. I'd grant all animals the ability to talk to us (My children would think twice about killing animals after that); 5. I'd create in all My children the ability to sense what animals and certain plants feel, so that if a person killed one (or cut down a tree) that person would feel some pain as well, and then he or she would have to weigh whether they really needed that animal's or tree's life-was it worth the pain it caused?

And as my last act, I'd give my human form the ability to make every woman fall in love with me & want to please me, so that once I stopped being God, I'd be able to keep myself busy! Lol.

Okay, I'll pretend that there's a god for a minute and that I'm taking over his job ...

I'd restore the rain forests, fix global warming, and wave my hand and clear the world of pollution. Maybe if we all got the opportunity to live in a clean world for a few days, we might think twice about ruining this planet!

Alright, now I'm done with my enviromental rant for the day ... by the way, Delylah, I didn't realize you were such a cutie. ;)

As Creation of Almighty God we humans are the Khalifs of Almighty on earth.
We have to implement and follow same rules of Almighty avoide problems.
That does not means we will avoide natural phenomenon. Natural phenomenon will continue as it is, only we have to follow and go according to those phenomenon.

I wouldn't accept the challenge. I've seen Bruce Almighty. Stuff wouldn't work out right and people are way too whiney and cry about everything. I could barely stand working at Target Guest Services because people are so devious. I'll leave God's work to God. He can deal with that stuff, I'd just end up smiting annoying people.

I would do two things:
1. I would undo all the damage to the environment that humanity has done to this planet.

2. I would open the human heart in such a way that it could not be closed, such that each and every human being would be filled with compassion and kindness towards each other, towards all things, and towards the earth itself.

The only thing I would do would be to continue the previous days weather patterns throughout the world . I would do nothing more so as not to interfere in God's own plan for us .

I wouldn't accept the position. I don't have the capability to love like he does. I would have given up on man a long time ago. God almost did so what chance would I have?

I wouldn't even consider being God for a day. It would mean for me to say that I am above God. Only God is above all. That's why Heaven is His throne and the earth His footstool.
