i don't know what kind of girl i want. ha ha. seriously they're all the same to me. i really don't know what my "type" is. i just know i want a pretty face with a nice personality but that's kinda vague don't you think? almost makes me yearn for the days of arranged marriages!

Nothing wrong with a pretty face and nice personality.Any body that says personality comes first is lying or blind.I have been married for lets say a very very long time and I no if not for his looks we probable wouldn't be together today because all the bad days and all the different times I wanted to leave I couldn't because I have always melted when I would look at him and I still do after all these years.

No b/c then you might marry somebody you just can't stand! And you seem really young, so why don't you go out with different types of girls to see what you like? Being pretty isn't the only thing that matters, and somebody can seem to have a nice personality, but could be mean and cold hearted. It just depends on who it is.

Sounds as though you gotta take the next step.
Attraction and being interested are two different things. Sounds as though you know what attracts you, the next step is to find out if you'd be interested!
You gotta talk to these girls and find out for yourself what it is you like in a girl! You can't find out without trying! Telling a girl that you are attracted to them could always be a good thing too. They aren't obligated to tell you anything, so you're not encroaching onto them, and you aren't tying yourself down at the same time.
The "nice personality" bit you're talking about sounds like chemistry and compatibility, and everybody wants that. I think you need to find what you "appreciate" in a girl.

Well think about things in marriage terms. Do you want kids? Do you want to travel? What are your beliefs? Find common long-term type interests that you share.
Trust me. Someday a girl will come along that stands out from all the others. You'll know. :)

What i think you should do is talk to some of your friends that are girls and ask them what they want in a guy and I know through experince that It takes time to find the one and now I am happily dating my boyfriend Michael for 3 1/2 years and pretty soon for so it didn't take me long to my my soulmate. Okay... I'm glad you're actually taking the time to figure out something important. To begin to SEE the differences in girls, you need to expose yourself to girls that do different things. After a while, you'll see that girls who constantly go to clubs are different from girls who go to Yoga class and from girls who play soccer and girls who are into business or medicine. Find them, see what qualities they share, and date them. See what kind of shiz they put you through and find the general group you enjoy most. This takes a while, but it is the most effective way to get what you REALLY want.
