I am going to the Congress in Los Angeles for Catholics and I am staying at the Hilton Hotel in LA. I just went on the website and it said it had high-speed-internet in every room. Does that mean that every room or some rooms have some kind of computer in it?

No, sorry to say, the Los Angeles Hilton has wireless internet access in every room. You must however use your own computer. Also, unlike most budget & mid price hotels, the Hilton charges an outrageous fee of $14.95 a day for the access.

I would rather doubt that there is an actual laptop computer in every room. You know that hotels have a serious problem with people stealing towels and bath robes. You can just imagine how quickly a laptop would disappear. I agree with the others, it refers to the ability to have access to the Internet.

Generally speaking, if a hotel or cafe says they have high speed internet availible, this usually just means that they have free internet ACCESS availible. That's to say that if you brought your laptop you'd have internet access for free. A lot of nice hotels do offer free computer access though, but usually in a public room, not in individual bedrooms.

I'm sure not. Like most hotels it's just internet connection for your laptop.
