Its a lymph node. When they flare up, its a good indication that you may be about to get sick (they deal with your immune system, when they flare up, theyre working super hard). I HIGHLY suggest running over to walmart ASAP and picking up some of the product called Airborne. It really helps get you over the upcoming cold faster, and it makes it less severe. Sometimes it lets you avoid it alltogether. Best product ever.

edit: Where you described is exactly where they are. They do hurt to touch (but for some reason, i always keep touching them).

good luck with staying healthy.

It sounds like a Lymph node. I would still go see your doctor for it. If it wasn't hurting, I wouldn't be worried about it, but it IS hurting, so it seriously doesn't hurt anything to go ask your doctor. Hope you find out whats going on. Have an awesome day!! =)

Probably a lymph node. You may need antibiotics if it's infected. I would suggest seeing a Dr., especially if you develop other symptoms.

I've had that before and it went away, but mine didn't hurt at all. I would suggest seeing a doctor in case it's something more serious.
