Jesus died because he was weak and stupid.
Now if I'm wrong I'm really hosed.

More important than what you believe is how you live your life? I always felt that the heart cannot worship what the mind cannot except. Christianity is the kind of religion that hates any form of intellectual progress. Being ignorant and retarded is seen as being holy in Christianity. I disagree and I am sure Jesus would too. The most destructive force to humans is ignorance and you seem to be displaying some. How do you know that blind faith will win browny points with God? If that was the case than why do humans have such complex brains? Humans have powerful minds for a reason and I don't think it is blind faith. No, we are made to discover truths through investigations and trail and error. Any religion that advocates the suppression of discovery and promotes ignorance is a religion that is best suited for the common man.

Evolution is not supposed to be interpreted as a substitute for religion. Religion and evolution are both rediculous. Both have holes that can't be explained. Why not lose the big human ego and admit we can't invent answers for the unknown. We should concentrate on a worldwide creed that all countries could follow that would be universal and be a basis for decency, caring, and compassion instead of politics, science and greed running away with all the money that could help starving children that suffer and do not know why the world is so pathethic in the hands of fools that think too much and don't do anything to help.

Well, the people telling the evolution story are very good at supressing other views and makeing excuses for their own.
It protects them from liability and responsibility in their own minds from any God other than themselves.
Its the only other choice.
Television, schools, and governments indoctrinate people into beliving it as fact rather than a theory, which while is a consensus amoung some scientists, does not guarentee viability as some people seem to believe.
Thats pretty much it. I don't see why people believe it, though they have some good arguments, mine are almost always better.

Belief and faith, because there is no physical proof, in Evolution, is an excuse for not wanting to believe in God and accept Jesus Christ, as their Lord and Savior which takes belief and faith because there is no physical proof, only spiritual.

Unfortunately, in order to believe your God properly, I'd have to reject my own thinking, my politics, my friends, my music, and worst of all, the woman I love. And then what? I'd hate to believe I did that for nothing.
Worse yet, what about the fact that other groups, including Islam, think *they* have the one true religion? What if they're right?
What you are doing is the 84,000th rendition of "Pascal's Wager" here, and you probably think you're being original and smart. Please do some research before calling someone else foolish.

Evolution is a lie and all this "scientific proof" is false - it has been created and manufactured by atheists. :( The theory of evolution is actually quite hilarious if you really study it. And by the way, to the Jehovah's Witness or Mormon who posted below, Jesus is God. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. Three in one, just as I am three in one. I am a daughter, I am a wife, I am a mother.

You go to hell for rejecting God, not for studying biology. Contrary to uneducated fundamentalist opinions, studying biology and accepting the plain and abundant scientific evidence doesn't mean rejecting Jesus as my Savior and Lord.

First off, Jesus is GODS SON... HE IS THE SON OF GOD... so therefore i dont understand why most call Jesus the LORD. SECONDLY, God created the earth then Adam and EVE they were the 1st people on earth.. non evolution-ized ape people.. ADAM & EVE were human just as you and I are today. So How the heck do the theory arise from humans evolved from APES???? No i dont believe. I believe in God AND in HIS SON Jesus christ. There is really ony ONE true God its just everyone has a DIFFERENT way of worshiping him and naming him.

You capitalize the word "evolution" as if it were of an extra importance to you...???
Why wouldn't one believe that God planned evolution as part of the Creation plan?
As many people disagree with "Big Bang (or Creation)" as evolution, but what if they are one in the same?!?!?!

They believe it because the truth hurts so much more. Most people either call you names or just close their ears when you present facts to them. Some would rather degrade other than take time to look into something... Sorry that I'm off-topic here to an extent.
