Ok, first of all, I just met this guy about 2 months ago. We've become pretty close, but he has a girlfriend that he has been with for a year and a half. I'm getting these vibes that he likes me, like he always asks me what type of guy i'm into, and who i think is hot or good looking. He gives me a lot of eye contact when we talk, and of course I give it back. He always smiles when I talk to him and I do the same. I feel a strong attraction, yet he has a girlfriend! I bumped into him at the grocery store a month ago and he told my friend that the customers shopping probably thought we were a couple. Is he envisioning us as a couple? I really don't understand him. He makes these comments that seem like he's interested, but he has a GF! ERGH! HELP ME. Do you think he likes me? or am I just overanalyzing this?

Ok, first take a step back from it all and look at the big picture. This guy has a girlfriend but is hitting on you, think about that, it's kind of mean once you think about it. If you really want this guy though, then chat with him a little, start of like normal conversations, but then try flirting a bit. that might work, he'll respond accordingly. Before you make an actually move, wait until he breaks up with his girlfriend, but if he makes a move try not to get between those two and say 'hey I like you A LOT, but I would feel uncomfortable with you having a girlfriend and all, so maybe another time' so not to put him down too hard. You may be overanalyzing this situation too, but remember small talk first then small flirting.

If he's got a girlfriend and he's hitting on you, it pretty much answers your questions. Don't expect to trust him and don't get involved unless you only want a physical relationship. My advice, stay away. It's not exciting, but in the long run you'll be happier.

It definitely sounds like he's having doubts about his current girlfriend. And yes, it sounds like he likes you. But until he makes up his mind and makes the first move, just cherish your friendship. He sounds like a good guy. :)
