This is called the "red barrier." One shampoo that can help with this is Shimmer Lights. It will GRADUALLY get rid of the orange & turn it to a platinum blonde. This orange is often referred to as "brassiness" as well. Hope I helped. :)

Well you can use a purple shampoo if its not very bad. You could try shimmering lights or something like that. You can get it at Sally Beauty Supply or you could put a toner on it with a violet base. Then again you could see a professional to put a toner on it unless you feel comfortable doing it yourself. I work in a salon and a toner or the shampoo would work, depending on how much it is. On the color wheel orange and violet are opposite each other so they cancel each other out. Anyway I hope this helps

If your hair has a orange tone you need to bleach it up to
a golden tone, takes about 10 minutes on starting out with light-
brown hair. Then, buy So Silver Shampoo leave it on 5 minutes shampoo out.If you still have too orange or yellow, get a toner,in
Medium Blonde (Ash)leave it on 10 minutes, shampoo & condition.Without seeing your hair it's difficult to say for sure
what you may need to do.Go to Beauty Supply, ask for help.
