I do not agree that ALL guys do not know how to love generously. You have just not found the right guy yet. I had a loser boyfriend I was with for two years and I felt the way you did. Then we broke up and I met the guy I am now married too. Trust me, when you find the right one, your thinking will change. If you find yourself in a relationship where you feel like you love him more than he loves you, do not automatically assume that is so. Some guys are bad at showing emotions. Talk to him about it and if it does not change your opinion about the situation, bail and find a guy that will love you as equally or more than you love him. Good Luck!

Guys can't learn to love generously because they don't know how to attract a girl in the first place. Attracting is what gets her to be in the relationship in the first place and most guys really do depend on luck for 80% of their success. If you can't GET a girl by choice, than how can you really LOVE the way you want? You get me?

It takes a guy who has all his shiz together to actually LOVE someone for real.

The question should be "why don't SOME guys know how to...." Unfortunately it sounds like you have only met the "Some" and not the ones who do know how to love generously.

The right ones do know how to love generously, and you sound like you do too. Don't settle for something less, but don't dream of perfection either, unless you can give it yourself. Give generiously and see if you receive back in the same measure.

Because you don't know how to teach them. Men can only love in the way they like to be loved. If you your vocal in telling your man all the things that make you feel loved he won't need to mind read. We are good, but not that good. Good luck!

No one - men and women - is born knowing how to love. People learn how to love differently based on what they experienced in their surroundings. What you define as love is likely not the same definition to other people.

You've just met the wrong ones. I've given everything for the woman I love and will continue to do so.

life is like the planets. they never collide with each other, they just get hit by meteors. good people are the planets. i guess its fate. i hope im wrong here, but that rarely happens.(not to sound egotistical) maybe you can defy fate and find someone decent but in todays world thats a tough job.
